2008/2009 Concert Series

Twenty-Nineth Season

Throughout the year the Concert Series Committee presents a variety of high quality concerts which are open to the public as well as the members of the church.

These concerts, generally held on Sunday afternoons, are presented to enrich the cultural life of the community. The generosity of Patron contributions and the freewill offerings of concert-goers funds the programs.

	Cakewalkin' Jass Band Sunday, November 16, 2008 @ 3:00 p.m. in the Great Room "Toledo's oldest New Orleans style jazz band" returns to FPC, bringing their dynamic talent for an afternoon of hot jazz!
	Joshua Brodbeck, organ Sunday, January 25, 2009 @ 3:00 p.m. in the Santcuary Come hear our beautiful Aeolian-Skinner organ played by one of the rising stars of the organ world. Findlay native Joshua Brodbeck has been playing the organ since the age of eight, performing in national and international recitals and concerts since age twelve.
	Deborah Norin-Kuehn, vocalist & Pierre van der Westhuizen, piano Sunday, March 29, 2009 @ 3:00 p.m. in the Santcuary International recording artists and performers Deborah and Pierre will present an afternoon concert of music for voice and piano.
	BGSU Early Music Ensemble ~ "Guido's Band"  web-site Sunday, April 19, 2009 @ 3:00 p.m. in the Santcuary Under the direction of Dr. Mary Natvig, "Guido's Band" is the early music ensemble at Bowling Green State University's College of Musical Arts. The group performs dances and other instrumental music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and early Baroque periods.
