Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees has the following specific responsibilities among others: to keep in repair the property used for the purposes of the church program as determined by the Session and the congregation, to invest all funds given or bequeathed to the church for endowment, if any, paying particular attention to the terms of the gift or the bequest regarding any specifications as to the use of the income, to supervise the management of all other property held by the church, to protect the properties of the church with sufficient insurance coverage, to handle any and all financial business matters of the church delegated to it by the Session.

At the first meeting of the year following the Annual Meeting, the Board of Trustees elects a President and a Vice President of the church corporation both who must be members of the Board of Trustees and must serve a term of one year. The Trustees also elect a secretary and treasurer who need not be members of the Board of Trustees.  The Board of Trustees meets monthly unless otherwise determined by the Board. Six members comprise the Board and serve terms of three years with two new members being elected each year at the annual corporation meeting.
